About the Role

  • Senior Product Designer focusing on Qonto’s credit and investment experience as the company grows into a bank.
  • Working hand in hand with product and tech, reporting to Christina, Product Design Manager.
  • Christina is a product designer who spent years building web platforms at startups; she designs around human-centric, scalable systems and data-informed decisions, with a focus on giving users their time back.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design 0-to-1 credit and investment features to turn traditionally heavy processes into simple, intuitive experiences for business owners.
  • Run discovery as an equal to the PM, leading market and user research and exploring several solution directions.
  • Talk to customers directly.
  • Design with purpose under real constraints, treating regulation, backend, and partner constraints as design inputs.
  • Work directly with Legal, Risk, and Compliance, and challenge constraints when the trade-off is worth it.
  • Own the work from first sketch to launch and beyond, carrying it through specs, delivery, QA, and iteration.
  • Contribute to the design system.
  • Shape the solution with tech from day one, building it with a PM and a new tech team from the ground up.
  • Keep the user experience consistent by aligning with other internal teams.

What You'll Bring

Senior product design experience, having shipped end-to-end product work with a portfolio showing rationale, outcomes, and polished craft.
Product thinking, framing the problem before opening Figma, weighing several solutions, explaining trade-offs, and tying decisions to business impact.
Experience turning complex, regulated processes into high-quality experiences.
Solution-oriented ownership, bringing solutions along with problems and unblocking yourself instead of waiting for direction.
Stakeholder fluency with PMs, engineers, Legal, Risk, and partners, including explaining the "why" behind decisions, taking feedback well, flagging blockers early, and landing decisions through disagreement.
AI-native workflow, using AI tools across research, exploration, and prototyping while knowing where human judgment must stay in the loop.
Ability to move with pace and rigor, prioritizing and flagging trade-offs in a regulated environment.
A portfolio with 2–3 shipped projects, in English, showing the problem, your role, your decisions, and the outcome.

Compensation & Benefits

  • A 0-to-1 role with real impact, defining how long-term credit feels for 650K European businesses.
  • Autonomy and AI-first tooling, with AI built into research, prototyping, and specs.
  • A design community including the Banking design team and a Design Studio of 90+.
  • A Staff designer buddy and a clear path to grow.

Interview Process

  • The hiring process lasts 20 working days on average.
