What You'll Be Doing
- Own end-to-end design for one of our core product areas, on a platform where AI is the foundation of the product, not a bolt-on feature.
- Bring consumer-grade craft to a B2B healthcare product used by clinicians and hospital administrators under real time pressure.
- Help invent the design patterns for AI-native surfaces, including multi-modal interfaces, agent state, uncertainty, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Own end-to-end design for a product area – Discharge Core, Voice Desktop, Extract & Docs, Patient Overview, or Agent – taking work from a messy problem statement through to what ships in production.
- Contribute to our Design Systems, building the components and AI-specific conventions that other designers and teams build on.
- Partner closely with product and engineering, shaping technical and product direction rather than being handed a spec to execute against.
- Work with other designers across the organisation, bringing input and influence beyond your own product area.
- Hold a high craft bar in critique, lifting the standard of what the wider design team ships.
- Help hold coherence across our AI Suite (Voice, Docs, Extract, Agent) and Discharge Core, so a fast-growing multi-product platform still feels like one product to the people using it.
What You'll Bring
8+ years of product design experience, with at least 3+ years operating at Senior, Principal, or Staff altitude.
Experience designing for AI and non-determinism, including communicating agent behaviour, handling errors, and keeping users in control.
Experience owning or significantly contributing to a Design Systems at the level of patterns and principles rather than individual components.
Block-shaped skill set across UX process, UI craft, product thinking, research, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience taking features from 0 to 1 through an ambiguous problem statement to shipped code, with comfort operating as a PM or frontend developer when required.
High agency to spot gaps without being asked, including outside your own product area.
Ability to hold a position under pressure but change it when new information warrants.
Confident communication in English for an international environment.
Consumer-grade craft background with exceptional design.
Nice to Have
