Infineon

German chipmaker supplying semiconductors for cars, power grids and devices.

About the Role

Important skills: your strategic thinking, creative skills, and ability to communicate with others will drive innovation and turn ideas into impact.

As a UX/UI Designer on our Corporate team, you’ll play a vital part in building the frameworks, relationships, and processes that keep Infineon’s Business thriving. As a UX/UI Designer in our Corporate Customer and User Experience Design team, you'll turn findings, user needs and requirements into visually appealing digital solutions, always thinking in end-to-end flows rather than isolated screens.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design intuitive, visually polished end-to-end user journeys, interfaces and interaction flows. From single features to complete applications, thinking in full flows and journeys, not isolated screens.
  • Translate findings, user needs, requirements and demands into clear design solutions: user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes and interaction patterns, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  • Apply strong visual design craft: typography, hierarchy, spacing, layout, composition and color, together with accessibility and inclusive-design principles.
  • Work confidently with our enterprise Design Systems and help evolve it: recognize when existing patterns don't solve the problem and contribute reusable improvements.
  • Look beyond the brief: understand the problem behind a request, constructively challenge assumptions or ideas when evidence or UX principles point to a better approach, and develop your own solution rather than simply executing instructions.
  • Explore design alternatives and form a clear point of view: recommend the solution you believe works best rather than simply presenting options, and explain the rationale behind your decisions.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team, collaborating openly with UX researchers, product managers, developers and fellow designers, and integrating feedback, research findings, analytics/data and critique throughout the design process.
  • Explore new tools and ways of working, including AI-assisted design, with curiosity and clear intent.

What You'll Bring

A portfolio that shows both the quality of your final designs and your thinking: user flows, wireframes, prototypes, polished interfaces and the reasoning behind your decisions.
A strong eye for visual quality and a reliable, confident approach to typography, hierarchy, spacing, layout, composition, and color.
Sound understanding of UX and interaction-design principles, with experience designing responsive/adaptive experiences and complete user journeys rather than single screens.
Proficiency with Figma or comparable design and prototyping tools, and experience working with component-based design or Design Systems.
Fluency in English.
