About the Role

  • You are equal parts designer and leader. You understand creativity and practicality. You inspire and do. You manage up and down. You navigate all of these dualities to deliver exceptional brand work.
  • You have a willingness to work in person in our Berlin studio and are open to travel globally, from Stuttgart to San Francisco.
  • We work in person with an optional WFH day on Friday, and an additional twenty days remote a year.
  • We encourage autonomy in each member of our team, allowing them to manage their own time, hours and personal commitments appropriately to complete work.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identify, curate and refine great ideas in collaboration with the Creative Director. You know how to realize and frame them expertly. You encourage and nurture all of this in your team, teaching them to do the same.
  • Lead and design in equal parts. Champion exceptional brand identities and do whatever is required practically or creatively to make them a reality. Direct photographers, animators and illustrators to produce outstanding work.
  • Collaborate intimately with the team around you, mentoring wherever possible. Manage both up and down acting as the conduit between Creative Director and Designers.
  • Build strong narratives, construct presentations and lead workshops with the client, continuing the dialogue around the work with them beyond the presentation.
  • Collaborate intimately with the Strategy Team to produce our immersion and strategic phases of work.
  • Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of branding and the creative practitioners within it. Consistently deliver work for the most impactful companies of today and the founders defining tomorrow.
  • Demonstrate ownership of your role and can both take and action feedback from your manager to progress within it. Deliver actionable feedback and valuable support for any member of your team.
  • Manage your own time, your team’s time, calendars and meetings to deliver work within scope, with a strong awareness of the time and team required to produce excellent work.

What You'll Bring

A great understanding of Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Pitch.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Performance rewarded with promotions, pay increases and a discretionary annual bonus of up to 10% of salary to all employees.
